Intern Testimonials

Christian Reycap

This internship has greatly assisted me in getting a job.  It helped expand my portfolio.  It also gave me hands-on experience both working independently and within a Team. It truly has helped me in being more professional and I am very thankful for the invaluable experience

Kirandeep Kaur

I joined the 2016 Summer internship during my senior year at CSUB.  I joined the internship to gain real world experience and give back to the community. Because my major was in finance, I chose to participate in the  fundraising internship. I learned a lot and had a great time working with different interns in various positions. The internship taught me the importance of teamwork and collaboration. I made good friends and gained everything that I wanted and expected out of this internship. Incoming interns can expect the same.

Ramneet Gill

During my internship I was studying Public Policy & Administration. I applied for the Summer 2016 internship because I wanted to work with a nonprofit organization that cares about pressing social issues. The internship helped me gain experience in the nonprofit sector, and it was a great networking experience with other highly talented interns. Incoming interns can expect to learn a lot and learn the value of hard work, but will also have fun and make some great long lasting friends as well.

Riley Marquez

I interned during my senior year at CSUB studying Public Relations and minoring in Marketing. I applied for the Summer 2016 internship because I hope to one day work in the field of non-profit and this internship was the best way to gain first-hand experience. The internship was beneficial to my career, both with work experience and getting accustomed to working with different people and departments. Future interns should expect to be busy learning new skills during their internship, accomplishing so many different projects, and having fun in the process. My summer was full of laughs and stress, but overall one of the best summers I’ve ever had.
